- Assisted in licensed technology developed by a scientific instrument company to a cardiovascular company for $2M cash, plus royalties. Supervised experiments required to prove feasibility, developed an offering memorandum, presentation and sales video, and negotiated the deal.
- Developed a business case for a radiology company to enter the cardiovascular field. Performed an assessment of their technology, management and business model, suggested a suite of products to be developed utilizing their existing technology, and assisted in development. Presented concept to executive committee, resulting in the formation of a new business unit within the corporation. Trained the sales force and identified key accounts. Assisted in the product launch at a major trade show, and with the negotiation of significant contracts.
- Developed Marketing Requirements Specifications for a next generation ablation system. Conducted a comprehensive market survey, led brainstorming sessions with marketing and engineering departments, developed key concepts for improving workflow, improving efficacy and reducing costs.
- Performed numerous due diligence studies for major venture capital corporations, resulting in major investments in emerging medical device companies.
- Corporate advisor to Japanese distributor of cardiovascular products. Assisted in the identification and evaluation of new products for the Japanese market.
